How can 5G solutions<\/a> transform our daily lives? In Lake Nona, we’re getting closer to realizing what this high-speed, ultra reliable technology can achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To help enable innovators, including startups, universities, large enterprises, and the public sector, discover new 5G applications, a dedicated development and collaboration space known as the Verizon 5G Innovation Hub is now open Lake Nona. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hub is a dedicated space where 5G-enabled solutions can be developed and tested across a variety of industries prevalent in our community such as healthcare, technology, autonomous mobility, health and wellness, education, retail, and sports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And thanks to our\u00a0exclusive Verizon 5G broadband
capacity<\/a>, innovators that use the Verizon 5G Innovation Hub are also able to test their solutions in Lake Nona\u2019s real world living lab environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Verizon 5G Innovation\nHub is part of Verizon\u2019s broader strategy to partner with businesses and\norganizations to explore how 5G can disrupt and transform nearly every industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re creating Innovation\nHubs powered by Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband to serve as launch pads for\nhigh-impact, transformational experiences and are excited to see the new 5G use\ncases that will be developed in Lake Nona,\u201d said said Sampath Sowmyanarayan, SVP and President of\nEnterprise at Verizon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, 5G testing is already underway in Lake Nona to improve safety features in our autonomous shuttles. <\/a>\u00a0Verizon is working with our partners at Beep on a pilot program that involves Verizon’s 4G LTE and 5G Ultra Wideband networks, Multi-Access Edge Compute (MEC), Real Time Kinematics (RTK), and Computer Vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
