I came in wanting a sense of community &#8211; for my boys to have friends, for me to have friends and a sense of general health and wellbeing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health and wellbeing go hand-in-hand with education, technology and science as essential ingredients in Lake Nona\u2019s design. From Medical City to our parks and recreational spaces, the episode explores the impact of wellbeing across a variety of developments in Lake Nona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe, in essence, are place makers.\u201d said Jim Zboril, Senior Managing Director at Tavistock, the Lake Nona developer. On the podcast, Zboril takes the audience back to the early stages of planning Lake Nona including the formation of the <a href=\"\/community\/ucf-college-of-medicine\/\">University of Central Florida College of Medicine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI knew we could build a medical school here,\u201d said Dr. Deborah German, founding dean of the UCF College of Medicine.
