In the 365 days following the dedication ceremony, more than 1,231 family members and caregivers\u00a0of hospitalized Central Florida Veterans have received complimentary lodging at\u00a0the Fisher House Orlando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI came here overwhelmed and quite concerned about my husband\u2019s prolonged sickness,&#8221; wrote&nbsp;a Fisher House Orlando guest. &#8220;I am now rested and blessed and ready to go home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"974\" height=\"456\" src=\"https:\/\/lakenona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fisherhouse2.jpg\" alt=\"Fisher House Celebrates One Year 2\" class=\"wp-image-25958423\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lakenona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fisherhouse2.jpg 974w, https:\/\/lakenona.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/fisherhouse2-480x225.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) 974px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fisher House Orlando unites families and caregivers and relieves the financial and emotional strain of being away from home while their loved one is receiving care. A total of&nbsp;16 suites include private bedrooms and baths, and&nbsp;Orlando Fisher House guests share a&nbsp;common kitchen, laundry facility, dining room and an inviting living room. The&nbsp;Orlando Fisher House ensures families&nbsp;never pay a&nbsp;lodging fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A&nbsp;total of 779 rooms have been occupied since the first guest&nbsp;arrived, saving loved ones of hospitalized veterans approximately $130,000 combined.
