Learn tennis as a family at USTA\u2019s Nemours Family Zone<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n

From parks and trails to watersports and ropes courses, there\u2019s no shortage of family-friendly ways to stay active in Lake Nona. At the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus<\/a>, the Nemours Family Zone takes family fun to the next level at no cost!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s right, the Family Zone is free for children 10 and under and their families all week. Plus, you can reserve a court online ahead of time. Family Zone hours are regular campus hours, but they recommend you make a reservation: Monday – Thursday:  8 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday: 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday:  8 a.m. – 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Family Zone features two junior court sizes that give kids a\nunique opportunity to learn and play in an environment designed for their age\nand ability. With eight 60-foot courts and eight 36-foot courts (compared to a\ntraditional 78-foot court), all family members can get on the court and in the\ngame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the smaller court sizes, the USTA offers shorter\nracquets and low-compression balls that help kids rally longer and with more\ncontrol. These features combined with adult and youth programming in the Family\nZone help accelerate learning for youth and beginner adults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
